Walk Sunday 12th September 2010 Northern Berwyns

Circulatr walk taking in Moel Fferna, Pen Bwlch Llandrillo, Cadair Bronwen, 15 miles, 2900ft ascent. This walk is full of history has waterfalls, cloudberry (only place in Wales it can be found apparently), with several ancient track ways, one of which is thought to be the route taken by the retreating army of Henry II in 1169, when defeated by the Welsh weather, he fled from Owain Gwynedd. Another track has a memorial at its highest point Bwlch Llandrillo which has a visitor’s book in a cache (not sure if this is still there). - PLEASE NOTE THE DATE OF THIS WALK HAS CHANGED FROM THE SATURDAY TO THE SUNDAY
