Once again we have managed to secure the excellent facilities at PYB for our AGM and Annual Dinner.
This year we have one of the stars of British alpinism, Stuart McAleese, giving an audio visual presentation on his 2010 Baffin Island big wall expedition on which they spent no less than 18 days on the wall, very often in temperatures of -20c. Stuart is a true all-rounder in that he is an accomplished rock climber and ice-climber. He has combined these skills to make impressive first ascents of big walls and alpine faces in the mountains of Alaska and Patagonia. In 2003 he was nominated for the prestigious Piolet d’Or Award. Accommodation
We have booked the excellent Moelwyn cottage bunkhouse (5* for a bunkhouse!) at PyB. It will take 16 with your own sleeping bags but is filling up fast. The cost is £15 per person and should be booked and paid for well in advance. Please send cheques to Ali Hutton made out to the CMC..

PYB cannot offer any B&B accommodation in the main building until nearer the day and even then they may not be able to due to course demands. There are other B+B’s nearby which can be accessed via internet searches. There are a number of other bunkhouses around Capel Curig and the YHA at Betws or Idwal cottage may be option.
Payment
The cost of the Annual Dinner (a served, very good quality three course meal) is £20 for club members and £25 for non members (the club is subsidising members by £5).
