Benefits of membership include:
The Clwydian
A quarterly copy of the club magazine (The Clwydian). Alternate copies are printed, delivered to your door and published on the website.
Website Forum Access
Ability to post on the forum, advertise for partners, take the p out of fellow members, buy / sell etc. Also access to members contact details via the member list.
BMC Club Membership
Individual club membership of the BMC (third party insurance included). You may also upgrade to full BMC membership for significantly less than the usual fee for an individual.
CMC Meets and Coaching
Access to all CMC meets at home and abroad. This includes social meets such as the Summer BBQ, the winter slide show series, the subsidised annual dinner and presentation by a celebrity speaker. For coaching we normally have an annual coaching weekend in the summer for rock climbers and private coaching is offered for members.
Access to heavily subsidised outdoor courses through the Outdoor Partnership.
The CMC is a member of the Outdoor Partnership which offers outdoor courses at highly subsidised prices (typically 60% discount) such as MLA, CWA, SPA. Funding is limited but there may typically be 6 courses a year available to club members on a first come - first served basis. Application must first be made to the OP and your application form must be countersigned by the CMC secretary.

Members are also entitled to a number of discounts and benefits on production of their club membership card. At present these are:
- 15% discount at Cotswold Outdoor (branches in Betws y Coed and Chester).

- A 10% discount at the Rock and Rapid Adventures shop.
